37th ANNUAL NATIONAL SHRIMP FESTIVAL
October 9 -12, 2008
The 37th Annual National Shrimp Festival is one month away. Gulf Shores High School will be collecting Dasani water and canned Coca Cola products to sell at our booth. Last year we collected over 400 - 12 packs of drinks. We actually ran out and had to purchase more. This year our goal is to collect 500 - 12 packs of drinks to sell. This is one of our major fundraisers for our school so we are asking for everyone's support. We need drinks, volunteers to work shifts in our booth, and monetary donations for ice. Students in need of service hours are welcome. Dr. Rosado has agreed to give a 2 day out of uniform pass for the students who bring in a 12 pack of drinks. Please turn your drinks into your homeroom teachers starting Monday, September 8th. We will be giving you more information as the festival gets closer.
