Model U.N. is a simulation of the United Nations involving students from around the county. Each student represents a member nation. They research questions dealing with global issues and role play as an ambassador from that country. Students stay in character while debating, discussing, and working in committees to resolve these issues. Each student is allowed to speak directly to the assembly with the agenda of their country. The Gulf Shores team does an outstanding job portraying the countries they represent.  They always amaze the sponsors with the resolutions they come up with to solve world issues.
